Last month it was Adam’s birthday and a colleague of his asked my help in figuring out what to get him for a birthday treat at work that day. In my searches I came across a specialty ice-cream place that had on it’s menu a coffee brandy ice-cream. Unfortunately, by the time I got back to the colleague it was too late. But… it left me with an idea.
You know… I have an ice-cream maker! 😉 The mental leap here wasn’t really that big and when you’ve been making as much ice-cream as I have lately it takes about 15 seconds to mentally go through the whole process of making it. Then it almost seems anti-climatic to actually make it. But I did. (Golf clap for me.) I used Cognac because it’s what I’ve got on hand. Cognac in my ice-cream? Don’t mind if I do.
